According to the Zhituo Finance APP, it is reported that $Apple (AAPL.US)$ is evaluating the possibility of "manufacturing its own brand of television." This technology giant considered producing televisions a few years ago, and speculation peaked after Walter Isaacson published the biography of apple's former CEO Steve Jobs in 2011.
Jobs told Isaacson: "I want to make an integrated television that's easy to use. It will sync seamlessly with all your devices and iCloud. Users will no longer have to deal with complicated DVD players and wired cable TV remote controls. It will have the simplest user interface you can imagine. I've finally cracked it."
Currently, Apple offers the Apple TV 4K set-top box, providing users with the functionality to play streaming media applications.
