Currently, the vast majority of US stock investment institutions have disclosed their holdings as of September 30, 2024, including wells fargo & co, citigroup, and bank of america, which sold technology stocks during the third quarter. However, it is unclear whether this is due to a change in investment logic or is part of a planned exposure to portfolio risk.

According to SEC disclosures, in the third quarter, bank of america's total holding market value reached 1.2 trillion usd, an increase from the previous quarter's 1.13 trillion usd.

At the same time, bank of america also reduced its shareholding in apple in line with Buffett, with the latest hold positions of approximately 80.89 million shares, a market value of about 18.8 billion usd, accounting for 1.56% of the portfolio, with a decrease in hold positions of 34.04% compared to the previous quarter.

Wells Fargo & Co: reduced holdings in microsoft and apple.
In the third quarter of this year, wells fargo holdings had a total market value of 442 billion usd, an increase of 7.3% compared to the previous quarter's 412 billion usd. The form 13f report submitted by citigroup shows that the total market value of holdings in the third quarter reached 173 billion usd, up from 156 billion usd in the previous quarter, reflecting a growth of 11%. In the third quarter, 394 new stocks were added, 3271 stocks were increased, 1444 stocks were decreased, and 288 stocks were completely sold.
