On November 18, Gelonghui reported that liuzhou iron & steel (601003.SH) announced that the main body and auxiliary facilities of the No. 3 blast furnace system of the Guangxi steel group co., ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "guangxi steel") Fangchenggang steel base project (Phase I) is expected to start production by the end of November 2024.
The Fangchenggang steel base project (Phase I) has a total of 3 blast furnaces and 4 converter furnaces planned, with the No. 1 and No. 2 blast furnace systems completed and put into operation by the end of June 2020 and the end of November 2021 respectively (see announcements: 2020-026, 2021-066); after the No. 3 blast furnace system starts production, the Fangchenggang steel base project (Phase I) will be fully completed.
