Revenue increased by 11.6% year-on-year to 3.006 billion yen, operating profit rose by 38.4% to 0.476 billion yen, ordinary profit grew by 39.3% to 0.472 billion yen, and net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company increased by 43.0% to 0.3 billion yen.
Revenue from the marketing business reached 2.897 billion yen (up 9.8% year-on-year), and segment profit was 0.483 billion yen (up 36.7% year-on-year). The beauty marketing sector (influencer marketing, Mimi Beauty (formerly MimiTV)) performed strongly.
Revenue from the investment business was 0.109 billion yen (up 99.4% year-on-year), and segment profit was 0.052 billion yen (down 2.1% year-on-year). Revenue from the sale of operating investment securities was recognized (revenue of 0.055 billion yen, no operating profit), as well as interest income from bonds held as operating investment securities.
The company maintains its initial plan for the consolidated performance forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2025, with revenue of 6.45 billion yen (+13.7% YoY), operating profit of 1 billion yen (+26.8% YoY), ordinary profit of 1 billion yen (+29.2% YoY), and net income attributable to parent company shareholders of 0.62 billion yen (+29.3% YoY).
