Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. will fully remodel the 20-inch small diameter child-carrying electric assist bicycles "PAS babby" and "PAS kiss" that comply with the standard for carrying two infants, and will release them on January 30, 2025.
Both models were developed with the concept of "Adding a touch of adventure to everyday life". Targeting couples who actively cooperate in child-rearing, the designs are made easy for both moms and dads, aiming to make them want to go out on weekends. The main common changes for both models include: 1) a compact new frame design focusing on ease of use for both moms and dads, 2) lowering the center of gravity of the body for stability during riding or walking, 3) adopting bicycle components that are easy for couples to share, such as saddles.
"PAS babby" is a rear child-carrying model characterized by fashionable styling. In the new model, it is equipped with the new rear child seat "Hug Seat Plus", which improves ease of use and comfort in daily life. Considering the color combination with the child seat, it offers a total of six colors ranging from active impression colors to simple and calm ones.
"PAS kiss" is a front child-carrying model that prioritizes the peace of mind, ease of use, and comfort of moms and dads. The new model is equipped with the updated and user-friendly new front child seat "Cocoon Room Plus". Offering a total of four colors ranging from active impression colors to simple and calm ones while considering the color combination with the child seat.

Featuring the 270-degree wrap-around headrest that envelops the child's head, which is a characteristic of the current "Hug Seat", the new "Hug Seat Plus" has been added to enhance usability and comfort in daily use.
The 'openable and closable handlebars' that can provide a spacious space for children to pass through when getting on and off the car, have been newly adopted. In addition, the cushioning of the seat has been improved to ensure that children can sit comfortably. The color scheme, which used to be only black, has now been expanded to two colors, black and white, taking into account the relationship with the body.

The color, which used to be only black, is now available in black and white to consider the relationship with the vehicle body.

The saddle is designed to accommodate riders of all body sizes, with a saddle design based on Japanese body type data* that covers 97.5% of body types. Additionally, anticipating daily use by both moms and dads, a quick lever for easy and quick adjustment of seat height has been newly equipped by just opening the lever.
