COSCO SHP SG announced that the group has jointly signed a green methanol production cooperation memorandum with Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Group and the USA's ReGenesis Group.

According to the agreement, the three parties will continue to deepen cooperation in areas such as green energy shipping, utilizing the abundant biomass resource endowment in Southeast Asia, adopting industry-leading technology, and building green methanol production bases that meet EU standards, effectively ensuring COSCO SHP SG's renewable energy substitution process and promoting the optimization and upgrading of the energy structure.
