We wouldn't blame Perimeter Solutions, SA (NYSE:PRM) shareholders if they were a little worried about the fact that Haitham Khouri, the CEO & Director recently netted about US$3.2m selling shares at an average price of US$12.13. That's a big disposal, and it decreased their holding size by 15%, which is notable but not too bad.
Perimeter Solutions Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
In fact, the recent sale by Haitham Khouri was the biggest sale of Perimeter Solutions shares made by an insider individual in the last twelve months, according to our records. So what is clear is that an insider saw fit to sell at around the current price of US$12.16. While insider selling is a negative, to us, it is more negative if the shares are sold at a lower price. Given that the sale took place at around current prices, it makes us a little cautious but is hardly a major concern.

Does Perimeter Solutions Boast High Insider Ownership?
I like to look at how many shares insiders own in a company, to help inform my view of how aligned they are with insiders. A high insider ownership often makes company leadership more mindful of shareholder interests. Perimeter Solutions insiders own 5.6% of the company, currently worth about US$100m based on the recent share price. I like to see this level of insider ownership, because it increases the chances that management are thinking about the best interests of shareholders.
