Currently, vaccine hesitancy has already led to frequent outbreaks of measles and whooping cough in the USA. CDC official Richard Besser stated that if the federal government suggests that states allow parents to choose for themselves, outbreaks will occur, and children will contract measles or whooping cough at school.
