Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. will release the 2025 model of the 27-inch electrically assisted bicycle “PAS CITY-SP5 (Pass City SP5)” for commuting to school or work on December 20.
The “PAS CITY-SP5” is a model with a full range of useful features that are easy to use for long-distance driving or for school/work scenes with lots of luggage. The main features are a relaxed and comfortable ride (assist feeling) even during high speed pedaling, such as when climbing, etc., the installation of a “smart power mode” that automatically controls assist power according to the situation, and comfortable drivability due to the combination of 27-inch rims and thick tires and an interior 5-speed shift. In addition, there are plenty of practical equipment such as a high-capacity battery compatible with long-distance driving, a large basket (approx. 25L), a stainless steel rear carrier, and a compatible stand.
As for the 2025 model, “matte indigo,” which gives an intellectual impression, and “matte olive,” which has a casual impression and is easy to match with any outfit, have been newly added. (3 colors in total)
