The National Bureau of Statistics released data on electrical utilities production showing that in October, the industrial power generation reached 731 billion kilowatt-hours, maintaining a steady year-on-year increase of 2.1%; the average daily power generation of industrial production was 23.58 billion kilowatt-hours. In the first ten months of this year, the industrial power generation amounted to 7.8 trillion kilowatt-hours, with a year-on-year growth of 5.2%.
By category, in October, the growth rates for industrial thermal power, nuclear power, and cecep solar energy have all cooled, while the decline in hydropower has expanded, and the growth rate of wind power has accelerated. Among them, industrial thermal power grew by 1.8% year-on-year, with a decline of 7.1 percentage points compared to September; industrial hydropower decreased by 14.9%, with an expanded decline of 0.3 percentage points compared to September; industrial nuclear power increased by 2.2%, with a slowdown of 0.6 percentage points compared to September; industrial wind power grew by 34%, with an acceleration of 2.4 percentage points compared to September; and industrial cecep solar energy generation increased by 12.6%, with a slowdown of 0.1 percentage points compared to September.
