The Reserve Bank of india governor Shaktikanta Das stated that central banks have successfully achieved a soft landing during a period of "continuous and unprecedented shocks", but the risks of returning global inflation and slowing economic growth still exist.
On Thursday, the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Das, stated that in recent years, despite conflicts, geopolitical tensions, and higher volatility, the monetary policies of global central banks have overall performed well.
Das said, "A soft landing has been guaranteed, but the risks of inflation - as I mentioned to you earlier today - the risk of inflation resurgence and economic growth slowdown do exist."
"Geopolitical conflicts, geopolitical economic divisions, fluctuations in csi commodity equity index prices, and climate change continue to intensify."
Das pointed out that there are some contradictions in the global markets, including the strengthening of the US dollar, despite the Fed cutting interest rates.
