On November 15th, Gralon held a meeting in which Italian Minister of Industry Adolfo Urso met with local autos industry representatives, including management from Stellantis, to discuss the company's business situation. Following the meeting, Stellantis issued a statement emphasizing that the group currently has no plans to close its factories in Italy or to significantly reduce the local workforce. Stellantis is Italy's only large car manufacturer and is facing challenges due to weak sales. Last month, the automotive industry organization FIM-CISL estimated that Italy's car production this year will drop to 0.5 million vehicles, the lowest level since 1958.
