TDK Corporation (President: Noboru Saito) received the 'Gold' award in the 'PRIDE Indicator 2024,' certified by the General Incorporated Association work with Pride*1, which evaluates efforts towards LGBTQ+ and sexual minorities.

Based on the belief that it is important to create an environment where all team members (employees) can fully utilize their abilities and feel secure to be their true selves, we have set DE&I policies and are actively promoting DE&I initiatives. Regarding LGBTQ+, following a workshop for executives and managers in 2023, we recognized the importance of corporate efforts and have been progressing with actions such as e-learning for employees, education for hiring managers, setting up consultation services, and implementing same-sex partnership programs. We have also started activities to expand LGBTQ+ alliances by participating in Tokyo Rainbow Pride.

In this 'PRIDE Indicator 2024,' the continuous efforts related to LGBTQ+ have been recognized, leading to the highest rating 'Gold' award.

We will continue to respect the diversity of team members including culture, nationality, age, race, abilities, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, and religion. Through practicing inclusive leadership and realizing DE&I, we will accelerate the transformation towards a sustainable future.
