Prolintas Infra Business Trust announced its results for the third quarter ended 30 September 2024 reporting revenue of RM81.4 million, marking a 2.6% quarter-on-quarter increase from RM79.3 million in the preceding quarter. Profit rose from RM4 million to RM12 million in the current.

This growth it said was primarily driven by higher traffic volumes across key toll roads, particularly the Ampang Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway ("AKLEH") and Lebuhraya Kemuning-Shah Alam ("LKSA"), which saw increases of 2.3% and 1.2% respectively.

Prolintas Infra BT said it also surpassed its revenue forecast for the nine-month period ending 30 September 2024 ("9M 2024"), recording RM232.8 million or 101% of the projected amount. Profit before tax stood at RM28.8 million, exceeding the forecasted RM17.3 million. This increase was primarily driven by higher revenue, greater profit income from Shariah-compliant placements, and reduced IPO-related expenses

Following the first interim distribution of RM34.9 million for the financial year ending 31 December 2024 in September, Prolintas Infra BT remains on track to meet its targeted RM70 million total distribution for FY2024, underscoring its commitment to delivering stable and sustainable returns to unitholders.
