Elon Musk's X Corp. named Mahmoud Reza Banki chief financial officer, filling out the executive ranks at his social media site as his attention shifts to cutting U.S. government spending for the incoming Trump administration.
Banki, the former CFO of streaming platform Tubi, joined X in November, according to his Linkedin profile and a person familiar with his hiring. While at Tubi, Banki was pardoned by former President Donald Trump in a case connected to 2010 charges for making false statements. He was also charged at the time with violating sanctions against Iran, but those charges were later overturned on appeal.
