Plantation Stocks Decline, F&B And Utilities Gain

At closing, plantation counters dominated the top decliners list, occupying four out of the five spots on the list.

The top decliner was Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd which shed 32 sen to close at RM22.28.

Johor Plantations Group occupied the third spot on the decliners' list, giving up 20 sen, or about 13.8%, to settle at RM1.25, followed by Hap Seng Plantations Holdings in the fourth spot, decreasing 19 sen, or about 8.4%, to end at RM2.08.

Lastly, Sarawak Oil Palms Bhd ranked fifth on the decliners list, lost 18 sen, or nearly 5%, closing at RM3.18.
