During this year's november 11 shopping festival-related (October 14 to November 11), JD.com (09618.HK) experienced significant growth in various product sales in Hong Kong. Among them, the sales turnover of mobile phone commodities increased by 170% year-on-year, with the iPhone 16 Pro Max being the most popular, leading to a 208% year-on-year increase in sales turnover for the Apple (AAPL.US) brand. Additionally, the domestic mobile phone brand Vivo saw turnover grow by more than three times year-on-year, while Honor experienced a 117% year-on-year increase.
Moreover, the sales turnover for beauty and facial skincare commodities increased by 130% year-on-year, with SkinCeuticals growing over four times year-on-year, L'Oreal increasing by 155% year-on-year, and SK-II rising by 122% year-on-year. Notable brands like La Mer and Helena Rubinstein also achieved double-digit growth.
Additionally, the sales turnover for maternity and baby products increased by 134% year-on-year. Among them, Pampers saw a 7.6 times year-on-year increase, with brands such as Cotton Era, Stokke, and babycare all reporting over 100% year-on-year growth. Snack food also recorded over 100% year-on-year growth.
The company also stated that in terms of order volume, high cost-performance commodities from brands like JD.com, Deli, bestore co.,ltd., Xiaomi-W (01810.HK), and three squirrels inc. are highly favored by users in Hong Kong.
