Mizuho raised Nvidia's target price from $140 to $165, and reiterated its "outperform large cap" rating.
According to Zhicheng Finance, Mizuho has raised Nvidia (NVDA.US) target price from $140 to $165, and reiterated its "outperform large cap" rating, citing the continued strength in the artificial intelligence accelerator market before its quarterly performance announcement. Nvidia will announce its latest quarterly results on the morning of November 21st Beijing time. Analysts generally expect the company's revenue to be $32.93 billion and earnings per share to be $0.74.
Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh stated that Nvidia is expected to announce guidance for its January quarter, laying the foundation for its "strong" development in 2025. He pointed out that the growth of Nvidia's GB200 NVL72 and GB 300 will benefit the company in the second half of this year. In addition, Rakesh added that the opportunities for the company in sovereign markets may increase starting next year, with sales of around $10 billion, accounting for 9% to 11% of datacenter revenue.
Finally, Rakesh pointed out that the artificial intelligence server market is now a potential market of $400 billion or more, and may grow by over 60% between 2023 and 2027, with its competitor AMD (AMD.US) expecting the market size to reach $500 billion by 2028.
