The device is also expected to support Siri and Apple Intelligence voice control. It can work independently, but requires an iPhone for initial setup.

On this wall-mounted display, Apple has designed a customizable main screen, where widgets can be used to display weather, upcoming appointments, photo slideshows, or important home controls.

If the rumors are true, smart displays will be able to centrally control HomeKit-compatible lights, sensors, thermostats, etc.

In addition, Apple may also plan to build its smart home ecosystem through more products, as renowned Apple analyst Guo Mingji revealed that Apple will make its first foray into the smart home IP camera market, with mass production expected in 2026.

The wall-mounted display price may reach $1000

According to reports, Apple has designed multiple bases for this smart display so that it can be wall-mounted, or placed on a countertop with a bracket incorporating additional speakers, running a new operating system that looks like a hybrid of the Apple Watch OS and the recently launched standby mode of the iPhone.

The display will use sensors to detect the distance between people and the screen, adjusting the displayed content based on the person's proximity. For example, when there is no one nearby, it may display the temperature, but when someone approaches, it can switch to the thermostat adjustment interface.

According to reports, Apple's display screen also supports the company's Handoff function, which allows users to continue tasks on different devices.
