Kato Seisakusho <6390> announced on the 8th that it will begin accepting orders for hybrid rafter SR-250HV (hybrid rough terrain crane).
The company has been proceeding with research with the goal of a crane truck that is reasonably priced, has no need to worry about running out of charge, and can reduce CO2 emissions. Hybrid rough terrain cranes (hybrid rafters) have a maximum CO2 reduction effect of about 40% compared to engine machines in the same class during fixed ground speed driving. By receiving hydraulic pressure supply from the hydraulic unit “EK-UNIT,” which uses an external power source, actual CO2 emissions during crane work can be reduced to zero.
The company aims to expand customer options and accelerate the realization of carbon neutrality by contributing to the resolution of environmental and social issues and providing optimal technology according to various conditions. We will continue to promote the development and dissemination of environmentally friendly products, contribute to reducing CO2 emissions, and advance product development in line with market needs.
