WiseNews Financial App, Telecom Digit Holdings (06033) announced that the group expects the net profit attributable to owners of the company for the six months ending September 30, 2024 to decrease to not less than 22 million Hong Kong dollars (2023: about 58.1 million Hong Kong dollars). The decrease in net profit is mainly affected by the following comprehensive factors: no property sales income (Note: property sales income of approximately 38.1 million Hong Kong dollars obtained in the same period last year); confirmation of fair value gains on financial assets not exceeding 12 million Hong Kong dollars (Note: fair value loss of approximately 6.7 million Hong Kong dollars obtained in the same period last year); affected by unfavorable market conditions, gross profit is expected to decrease by not more than 33 million Hong Kong dollars compared to the same period last year; and overall operational expenses and financing costs are expected to decrease by not more than 11 million Hong Kong dollars compared to the same period last year.
