Xiaomi (HKG: 1810, OTCMKTS: XIACY) has made a regulatory filing for the production version of the SU7 Ultra, which is set to make its real-life debut at the Guangzhou auto show later this month.

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released its latest catalog of models that will be allowed to be sold for public comment yesterday, and the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is included.

The public can submit their feedback between November 8 and November 14. Entering the catalog is the last major regulatory process by which a model can be allowed to be sold in China.

There is only one version of the SU7 Ultra that has entered the catalog, and it is manufactured at Xiaomi's production base in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area.

The all-electric sedan measures 5,070/5,115 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width and 1,465 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.

The dimensions are larger than those of the regular SU7 sedan, which measures 4,997 mm, 1,963 mm, 1,455/1,440 mm in length, width and height, and has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.

The SU7 Ultra weighs 2,360 kilograms and supports a top speed of 318 kilometers per hour.

The model is powered by Li-ion ternary batteries supplied by CATL. Its motors are manufactured in-house by Xiaomi and the peak power of the three motors is 288 kW, 425 kW, and 425 kW respectively.

Xiaomi announced on October 29 that the SU7 Ultra began pre-sales in China at a price of RMB 814,900 ($113,890), nearly four times the regular SU7's RMB 215,900 starting price.

The model's official launch will be in March 2025, the phone maker said on October 29.

The SU7 Ultra will make its first public appearance at the Guangzhou auto show, which starts on November 15, Xiaomi's car-making arm Xiaomi EV said on Weibo yesterday.
