The Nikkei average is in the negative range, but the downside seems to be firm. There are investors who are holding back from active buying as they want to assess President Trump's policies with his certain victory in the US presidential election. On the other hand, it seems that the firm performance of Dow futures in extended hours trading is providing support to stock prices in the Tokyo market.
