On November 7th, the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily (Reporter: Huang Xinyi) reported that in September this year, Huawei officially launched the Global Intelligent Industry Innovation Center in cooperation with the Qianhai Management Bureau of Shenzhen and the People's Government of Baoan District. The first phase plan includes integrating Huawei's various departments' relevant capabilities in intelligent manufacturing, co-building key root technologies like intelligent brain, cerebellum, and toolchain.
In terms of basic investment, the Intelligent Manufacturing Root Technology Laboratory provides common technology bases, intelligent brain technology research and productization involve large-scale intelligent models, multimodal large models, computing power. Key technology research for cerebellum includes flexible automated assembly, flexible automated testing, multi-robot collaborative manufacturing, universal dual-arm precision manufacturing, etc.
In addition, the innovation center will launch joint innovation projects. Huawei will empower intelligent manufacturing technology, collaborate with ontology manufacturers and manufacturing enterprises to solve technical challenges for enterprises, creating popular products that solve actual enterprise problems.
The first batch of participating companies includes Shenzhen Zhaowei Machinery & Electronics, Leju Robotics, Guangdong Topstar Technology, etc. Some participating companies told the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily that they will work with Huawei to create scenarios.
The second batch may include Gosuncn Technology Group, Zhuimi Technology, Moying Technology, Wenshi Robotics, and others.
It was noted that Huawei is one of the important clients of Shenzhen Zhaowei Machinery & Electronics, continuously applying for patents related to dexterous hands this year, and jointly establishing the 'Dexterous Hand Intelligent System Innovation Joint Team' with the Shenzhen Advanced Institute team to jointly develop dexterous hand intelligent systems with independent learning capabilities.
At the Huawei Fully Connected Conference 2024 held in September, Guangdong Topstar Technology showcased the practical applications of the openEuler open-source operating system in cloud servers, edge data centers, and industrial control systems at the end.
