November 6th, BYD Company Limited stated during a conference call that the global product launch event for BYD SHARK, the first pickup truck by BYD, took place in Mexico City. Positioned as a new energy luxury smart pickup truck, it is priced at approximately 416,000 RMB. The Brazilian production base complex will consist of three factories, including an electric bus and truck chassis production factory, a new energy passenger vehicle assembly factory, and a lithium iron phosphate lithium battery material processing plant, with a planned annual capacity of 150,000 vehicles. The company has reached a strategic partnership with Uber, planning to globally deploy 100,000 new BYD electric vehicles, starting from Europe and the Americas, and gradually expanding to the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, and other areas.
