On October 24, Peking Yizhuang announced that the first domestic full solid-state lithium battery production line has been officially put into operation, capable of mass producing 50 ampere-hour full solid-state batteries.
On October 26, jiangxi yudu's 500MWh full solid-state battery production line was officially put into operation, and the full solid-state battery products were also released.
In addition, Tailing New Energy, in collaboration with Chongqing Changan Automobile, will hold a solid-state lithium battery new technology conference on November 7 in Chongqing, bringing new solid-state lithium battery technology.

Chery announced at the 2024 Global Innovation Conference held recently that Chery is developing Kunpeng solid-state batteries, planning to achieve operational targeted operation of solid-state batteries in 2026, and mass production by 2027;
A patent application by BYD named "Full Solid State Battery, Battery Pack and Electrical Equipment" has also been publicly approved recently;
Saic Motor Group plans to achieve mass production of full solid-state batteries by the fourth quarter of 2026. Saic Qingtao's first full solid-state battery production line will be completed by the end of 2025.
Guangzhou Automobile Group plans to achieve full solid-state battery installation by 2026, and will be the first to be installed in the Haobo model.
According to incomplete statistics, more than ten overseas car companies including Volkswagen, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, General Motors, BMW, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, etc., are accelerating the research and mass production of solid-state batteries.

Acceleration of industrialization of solid-state batteries
With the joint efforts of various "players", the heat of the solid-state battery industry continues to rise, the pace of industrialization is accelerating, becoming the key high ground for the competition of next-generation battery technology.
Specifically, in terms of industrial implementation, the mass production milestones of full solid-state batteries for leading power battery companies such as Contemporary Amperex Technology, Sunwoda, Gotion High-tech, and Zhongchuangxin Aviation are expected to be around 2027, and by 2030, mass installation of full solid-state batteries is expected.
With manufacturers competing for mass production, Jibang Consulting predicts that before 2027, solid-state battery production will reach the GWh (gigawatt-hour) level, and after 2030, the application scale of full solid-state batteries will exceed 10GWh, and cell prices will drop to about 1 RMB/watt-hour. By 2035, cell prices are expected to have the opportunity to drop to 0.6 RMB/watt-hour to 0.7 RMB/watt-hour.
Orient's research report points out that full solid-state batteries are expected to be first applied in consumer electronics, aviation and high-end electric vehicle markets in the early stages, and by 2030, penetration rates in power batteries and consumer batteries will reach 2% and 10%, respectively.
According to the Citic Securities research report, in recent months, leading vehicle manufacturers have made progress in the field of solid-state batteries. In October, top vehicle manufacturers at home and abroad have continuously advanced the research and application of solid-state batteries through cooperation or layout. Looking ahead to November, Chongqing Changan Automobile and Tianjin Lishen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. will hold a solid-state battery technology release conference, and the industry is expected to see another catalyst.
In addition, the aviation sector is gradually becoming an important application scenario for solid-state batteries, and lithium battery equipment manufacturers are expected to explore a second growth curve in the solid-state battery field. Companies involved in the solid-state battery business such as battery manufacturers, solid-state electrolyte companies, and other related companies in the solid-state battery industry chain are expected to benefit fully from the layout.
