Smithtown, Arkansas, November 5, 2024 / USA News Agency / -- ABB announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire Aurora Motors. This acquisition provides a well-received product portfolio, a long-term customer base spanning 30 countries, and a sales structure that is customer-centric and experienced, in addition to solid partnerships with strategic suppliers. Aurora Motors is a US vertical pump motor supplier valued at 4 million US dollars, with engineering and operations departments in Shanghai and a company office and distribution center in Hixville, California, USA. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the transaction is expected to be completed before the end of the 2024 fiscal year.
This trade is part of the profit growth strategy of the dynamic business area, enabling the NEMA motor division to enhance product supply, expand the supply chain, and improve support for its global customer base.
