According to the announcement by Future Data Group (08229) on the Zhitong Finance APP, regarding the intended acquisition of all the issued shares of Superior Investment Management Limited, after careful consideration of all acquisition matters, the company and the seller have decided not to proceed with the acquisition. Therefore, on November 5, 2024, the buyer and the seller entered into a termination agreement to terminate the acquisition agreement and related acquisition matters.

According to the termination agreement, the contracting parties have mutually agreed to terminate the acquisition agreement and release each other from all future obligations and liabilities under the acquisition agreement from the termination agreement date. The contracting parties also confirm that they will not make any claims against each other for any matters arising from or under the acquisition agreement.

The board of directors believes that the termination of the acquisition will not have any significant adverse impact on the group's financial and operational performance.
