Fujifilm Holdings Corporation Unsponsored ADR is pleased to announce that Kenji Sukegano, Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, has been awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette in the autumn of Reiwa 6.

The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette is a decoration awarded to individuals who have achieved remarkable accomplishments for the country or public welfare. As the President and CEO of Fujifilm Corporation, Kenji Sukegano has actively invested in the healthcare sector, successfully transitioning the core business, establishing a solid growth foundation. The investment has laid the foundation for the Bio-CDMO business with world-class production capacity to build a stable supply system for bio-pharmaceuticals in high demand worldwide. Moreover, as the Chairman of the Photographic Material Industrial Association (now Japan Photo Imaging Association), he has contributed to the development of the photography industry, and as the Chairman of the Industrial Environmental Management Association, he has addressed various environmental challenges in Japan's industrial sector.
The conferral ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Imperial Palace on November 6.
