Broadcom (AVGO.US) has released VeloRAIN (Robust AI Networking) artificial intelligence (AI) network architecture, using AI/ML to enhance the performance and security of distributed AI workloads, thereby assisting enterprises in accelerating preparation for connecting and supporting AI and non-AI workloads.
In addition, the company has launched a new series of VeloCloud products, including VeloCloud Edge 4100 and 5100 devices, designed for large branch institutions, regional centers, and datacenters to help simplify network architecture and reduce the number of equipment deployments.
Sanjay Uppal, Vice President and General Manager of Broadcom's VeloCloud division, stated that VeloRAIN introduces new intelligent features that can identify previously difficult-to-analyze encrypted application traffic, achieving network optimization, simplifying identification, and prioritizing new edge AI application workflows.
At the same time, Broadcom announced the launch of a new partner program tailored for VeloCloud partners called Titan, replacing the old VMware VeloCloud partner program. Sanjay Uppal expressed anticipation to collaborate with global partners through Titan to provide new generation infrastructure for more enterprises to meet current and future AI workload requirements.
