Wedbush's research report states that Super Micro Computer faces more and more challenges in the future, including whether it can avoid delisting from Nasdaq in the coming weeks.

Finance and Economics APP learned that Wedbush's research report mentioned that the future of Super Micro Computer (SMCI.US) is facing more and more challenges, including whether it can avoid delisting from Nasdaq in the coming weeks.

Wedbush analysts Matt Bryson and Antoine Legault stated in an investor report on Monday: "Due to Super Micro Computer's lack of auditors, and Ernst & Young's decision to resign as the company's auditing firm, stating that they cannot 'rely on statements of management and the audit committee,' Ernst & Young is 'unwilling to connect with financial statements prepared by management,' undoubtedly a tough battle for Super Micro Computer to continue its listing."

Wedbush has lowered the stock's target price from $62 to $32 but maintains a "neutral" rating. In the past six months, Super Micro Computer has plummeted nearly 70%.

Wedbush also wants to know whether there are significant financial issues related to management behavior. In a document submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission by Super Micro Computer on October 24, it is expected that 'any issues raised by Ernst & Young or matters being considered by a special committee will not result in restatements of quarterly or prior annual financial statements for the 2024 fiscal year (ending June 30, 2024).' This indicates no financial issues, but more signs are pointing to potentially larger issues.

Finally, amidst this turmoil, can Super Micro Computer maintain its current sales guidance?

Bryson added: "Before a recent series of issues emerged, we have seen some signs that indicate that Super Micro Computer's liquid cooling demand is not as strong as the company previously expected."

In fact, there have been reports that the main customer of Super Micro Computer, Nvidia (NVDA.US), is reassigning orders previously placed with Super Micro Computer to other suppliers in order to contain the chaos in the artificial intelligence server industry.

Super Micro Computer plans to release a business update for the first quarter of the 2025 fiscal year on November 5th, Eastern Time, but will not release a complete financial report.
