On November 5th, Guronghui | The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the usa announced on Monday that it has concluded an investigation into 411,000 Ford SUVs and pickup trucks. The reason for the initial investigation was a potential engine defect that could result in a loss of power without any warning. In July 2022, NHTSA began investigating Ford Bronco vehicles equipped with the 2.7L EcoBoost engine, which later expanded to other models, including the 2021 and 2022 Ford Edge, F-150, Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, and Nautilus vehicles. In August of this year, Ford recalled 90,000 vehicles. The automaker had previously determined that not all produced valves were defective, and most failures occurred in vehicles with shorter usage times. Ford stated on Monday that it will provide 10 years or 150,000 miles of extended warranty service for the recalled 90,000 vehicles, with no crashes or injuries reported due to this issue so far.
