According to media reports, on November 2, Pony.ai and BAIC Bluepark New Energy held a signing ceremony for L4 self-driving car development technology cooperation at BAIC Bluepark. The two parties aim at the mass production of Robotaxi with complete autonomous commercial capabilities, jointly promoting the large-scale implementation of autonomous driving travel service (Robotaxi). It is reported that BAIC Bluepark New Energy and Pony.ai have collaborated to deploy at least a thousand units of BAIC Bluepark New Energy's Robotaxi vehicles in the domestic market, helping to catalyze the commercial explosion of complete autonomous Robotaxi. In addition, the two parties also plan to cooperate in branding and market promotion, supply chain coordination, vehicle sales, and technology expansion abroad.

Industry data shows that global Robotaxi services are expected to commercialize around 2026, with China expected to become the largest Robotaxi service market globally. The market size is projected to reach $0.2 billion in 2025 and $39 billion in 2030, accounting for over half of the global Robotaxi service market share. Debon Securities stated that with policy support and mature technology, as commercial operations gradually take off, they remain bullish on investment opportunities related to autonomous driving and Robotaxi.
