The announcement stated that this decline is mainly attributed to the continued trend of mainland residents in Hong Kong traveling north to consume; the downgrading of consumption in Hong Kong and mainland China; increased expenses and impairment provisions due to the closure of underperforming stores during this period compared to the same period last year.
