China Mobile (00941.HK) announced that starting from June this year, it will gradually enhance the 5G mobile network at 24 MTR stations under China Mobile Hong Kong, carrying out the gold spectrum upgrade project. Following Tin Hau Station and Wan Chai Station, Kowloon Station has also been completed and put into service.

China Mobile Hong Kong stated that after completing the gold spectrum upgrade project at Kowloon Station, the download network speed reached 718Mbps, while the upload speed was 117Mbps. It is expected to complete the gold spectrum upgrade project at Hong Kong Station by the end of the year, with the remaining stations to be completed by 2027. (js/w)
