Macau International Airport data shows that in the first ten months of this year, the number of passengers reached 6.34 million, a year-on-year increase of 56.92%; there were 0.049 million aircraft takeoffs and landings, a year-on-year increase of 49.37%. Compared with the same period in 2019, the number of passenger trips and takeoffs and landings have recovered by approximately 80% and 78%, respectively.
In the first three quarters of this year, visitors holding international passports accounted for 15% of the total inbound passengers at the airport, a year-on-year increase of 1.1 times, indicating that Macau International Airport is gradually recovering and moving towards new development heights.
