On the news front, according to the US CFTC data, as of the week ending October 29, bullish sentiment in gold prices cooled, palladium net shorts hit a 22-month low, and platinum bullish sentiment reached a five-year high. Deutsche Bank analyst Michael Hsueh believes that if Harris wins, the gold price may briefly decline, but will subsequently rebound.
