Zhong Hui Group (00382) announced that on November 1, 2024, Hua Commerce Hotel (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) entered into a hotel management contract and hotel use agreement with Sun City HK&S Hotels.

The group entered into a hotel management contract and hotel use agreement with Sun City HK&S Hotels to utilize the Guangzhou Sun City HK&S Hotel as an educational hotel for the group, providing ample training opportunities for its students (especially those of the Hua Commerce Hotel Management College) to fully engage in reception and hotel management.

The Hua Commerce Hotel Management College (a subsidiary college under the Hua Commerce Vocational College) was established in September 2014 as an integrated teaching and practical training center covering all aspects of hotel operation. The college designs practical learning courses, encourages and offers students the opportunity to work closely with hotel professionals to cultivate practical skills in all areas of hotel operation.

Specifically, the close relationship between Hua Commerce Hotel Management College and Sun City HK&S Hotels provides the group's students with a rich and unique learning experience. Through the relationship established with Sun City HK&S Hotels, the group has hired experienced industry lecturers to teach at the college and provide practical guidance and advice to the group's students. Sun City HK&S Hotels also offers practical courses, internships, and other learning opportunities as well as course materials for students of Hua Commerce Hotel Management College.

In this context, the company believes that through the cooperation under the hotel management contract and hotel use agreement, the group can leverage the existing team of Sun City HK&S Hotels and the reputation of Guangzhou Sun City HK&S Hotels to provide learning opportunities and enhance the student experience for the group. Sun City HK&S Hotels are responsible for providing all necessary support and collaboration to ensure that Hua Commerce Hotel can fulfill the hotel management services under the hotel management contract and operate the hotel under the hotel use agreement.

Specifically, with the group's teaching team composed of professionals with extensive hotel management experience (including Mr. Liao and Ms. Chen) collaborating with the existing team of Sun City HK&S Hotels with over 30 years of hotel management experience, the group will be able to more effectively provide deeper hands-on hotel management experience for its students, thereby enhancing the overall teaching quality of Hua Commerce Hotel Management College and further promoting the students' career preparation and development.

Although the group may collaborate with other companies engaged in hotel operations (such as third-party companies operating hotel businesses) to implement industry-education integration, students participating in hotel business operations under this model may face more restrictions. Conversely, if the group operates hotels on its own, it can provide students with more opportunities to fully engage in all aspects of hotel operations and management, including business planning, budgeting and cost and revenue management, customer service, and marketing, allowing students to apply their knowledge, deepen their understanding of hotel business operations, and prepare for future careers in hotel management by facing challenges, making decisions, solving problems, and seizing opportunities. The faculty and staff of the group can also form teams with group students, leading them to participate in local management (including the formulation and implementation of new policies) from the perspective of senior management to help students understand hotel business operations.
