Takuma <6013> announced that its subsidiary, Takuma Energy, has signed a business partnership agreement with Next Energy and Resources on October 25, 2024, to manufacture and sell photovoltaic equipment. Moving forward, both parties will collaborate to strengthen proposals utilizing photovoltaic equipment for municipalities and other entities working on decarbonization and local production and consumption of electricity.

In the future, Takuma Energy will propose solutions utilizing photovoltaic equipment handled by Next Energy in addition to existing power consulting services when receiving consultations regarding local production and consumption of electricity including photovoltaic power from municipalities and other entities. By incorporating the utilization of solar power generation into the service lineup alongside waste power generation and biomass power generation, the company will more robustly support customers working on local production and consumption of electricity using decentralized power sources.
