Shimadzu Corporation's vascular imaging system "Trinias series with SCORE Opera" has won the Brands & Communication Design category in the Interface & User Experience Design category of the "Red Dot Design Award 2024." This is the first time our company's product has won in this category.

"Red Dot Design" is one of the world's largest design awards, organized by the "Design Center" in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It consists of three categories: Product Design, Brands & Communication Design, and Design Concept. The Brands & Communication Design category is awarded for excellent design in branding, advertising, packaging, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX). Our company has won in the Product Design category of the "Red Dot Design Award 2024" with the gas chromatograph mass spectrometer "GCMS-QP2050," gas chromatograph "Brevis GC-2050," ICP mass spectrometer "ICPMS-2040/2050," and the universal testing machine automation system "SAGX-V Series."

Vascular imaging system "Trinias series with SCORE Opera"

In vascular interventions using catheters, this vascular imaging system provides X-ray image information of the entire body from the head to the lower limbs. It has a wide range of device movement and a customizable console, providing an optimal environment for treatment and an efficient workflow. The customization feature of the touch panel buttons reduces operation steps, and the lever shape is changed for each function. The operation modules are designed in sizes that are easy to operate without the operator moving, enabling a "one-man operation" where a physician can operate alone while focusing on the patient and monitor without looking at the controls.
