On November 1st, Gelonhui reported that at 18:28 on October 31, 2024, a fire accident occurred in the flame retardant workshop factory building of Yangzhou Chenhua New Material (300610.SZ) located in Caodian Town, Baoying County.

After the accident, the company immediately launched the emergency plan, set up an on-site emergency team, quickly evacuated the crowd, and fully cooperated with the local emergency, ecological environment, public security, fire departments, and local government to carry out the firefighting work at the scene. The fire was completely extinguished at 20:09 on the same day. The factory building covers an area of 300 square meters, with a fire area of about 180 square meters this time. The accident did not cause casualties, no toxic or harmful chemicals leaked, no environmental pollution occurred, and no secondary disasters happened. Currently, the accident cause and specific reasons are under investigation and verification, and the related insurance claims assessment work is also being carried out in an orderly manner.
