On Wednesday local time, Cathie Wood, also known as 'Wood Sister', conducted a series of major trades through her investment company Ark Invest, with the most eye-catching trade still involving Tesla.

Data shows that Ark Invest's ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) and Ark Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) under Ark Invest sold a total of 62,151 Tesla stocks. Based on Tesla's closing price of $257.55 on Wednesday, the value of this transaction is approximately $16 million.

Ark Invest estimates that the market size of self-driving taxi services will reach as high as $11 trillion, and Tesla is quickly entering this market to lower service prices using low operation costs. Tesla plans to launch this service in Texas and California next year, initially with safety drivers, aiming for full autonomous driving before approval by regulatory authorities.

Nevertheless, Ark Invest has been frantically selling Tesla stocks recently. This is mainly because Tesla recently announced better-than-expected third-quarter financial results leading to a major increase in the company's stock price.

On October 24th, driven by the unexpected profit in the third quarter, Tesla's stock price soared by 21.9% on that day. Through its ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) and ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF (ARKQ), Ark Invest sold 85,456 Tesla stocks, valued at approximately $22.22 million.

On October 28th, the ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) and Ark Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) sold an additional 120,141 Tesla stocks, valued at approximately $31.54 million.

On October 29th, the ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) and Ark Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) sold 13,896 Tesla stocks. Based on Tesla's closing price of $259.52 on Tuesday, the value of this transaction is approximately $3.6 million.

Nevertheless, Tesla remains the largest holding in the Ark Innovation ETF (ARKK) and the Ark Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) portfolios managed by ARK Invest.

Despite Tesla's impressive financial performance, analysts remain cautious. Among the analysts tracking Tesla, 11 have a "buy" rating, 16 have a "hold" rating, and 8 have a "sell" rating.

Yesterday, Tesla's stock price closed at $257.55 per share, a decrease of 0.76%. Currently, Tesla's average target stock price is $207.83, indicating a potential downside of about 20%. Year-to-date, Tesla's stock price has increased by 3.65%.

While selling Tesla stocks, Wood also bought AMD stocks on Wednesday. Records show that ARK Invest purchased 111,080 shares of AMD stock through its ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), Ark Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW), ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF (ARKQ), and ARK Space Exploration & Innovation ETF (ARKX).

On Tuesday, AMD just released better-than-expected third-quarter financial results. Revenue was $6.819 billion, an 18% year-on-year increase. Net income was $0.771 billion, a 158% year-on-year increase. Adjusted net income, not following the US GAAP, was $1.504 billion, a 34% year-on-year increase.
