Xpeng Huizhou's "Land Aircraft Carrier" split-type flying car is set to debut at the 2024 China Air Show. On November 12, it will perform the world's first public flight at the Lotus Exhibition Area in Doumen. At the same time, the "Land Aircraft Carrier" will also be on static display at Hall 8 of the Zhuhai International Air Show Center.

Recently, Xpeng Huizhou's flying car smart manufacturing base officially started construction, which will be used to produce the flying body part of the split-type flying car "Land Aircraft Carrier", with a planned annual capacity of 0.01 million units. The first phase covers an area of approximately 0.18 million square meters, planning to set up four major production workshops of composite materials, assembly, painting, and final assembly, as well as ancillary facilities. In March 2024, the government work report proposed to actively build new growth engines such as low-altitude economy. Subsequently, many regions have issued policies supporting the low-altitude economy, propelling its rapid development. According to data from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the market size of China's low-altitude economy is expected to reach 2.5 trillion yuan by 2030, and could reach 3.5 trillion yuan by 2035; Guosen Securities estimates that in the midterm, the domestic eVTOL stable market size is expected to exceed 200 billion, with market sizes for sightseeing scenarios, commuting scenarios, and complete aircraft sales at 68.3/20.8/126 billion yuan respectively.
