AASTOCKS ·  Oct 29 09:30

China State Construction International (03311.HK) subsidiary China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) has been granted a social responsibility loan of 0.5 billion yuan by China CITIC Bank Corporation (International), making it the largest loan amount in the history of Hong Kong's construction industry.

The loan will be used to construct the simple public housing project in the Kai Tak City of the Sport Avenue, which will provide over ten thousand units of simple public housing to help improve the living environment of Hong Kong citizens. Due to the use of Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) technology in the project, the MiC units will be swiftly constructed on-site, shortening the construction period by nearly 40% compared to traditional public housing. Additionally, it is more eco-friendly, safe, and labor-saving, reducing the project's burden on society, the economy, and the environment.
