DC Electronics, a subsidiary company of Amphenol, has opened its new facility expanding its expanding its footprint with a new building, located within 15km of the previous site, which is reported to be four times larger than its previous facility.
Operations at the former facility have now ceased as the company transitions fully to its new location.Founded in 1979, ADCE specialises in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of custom wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and integrated electronic mechanical devices.
The company was acquired by Amphenol, one of the world's largest providers of high-technology interconnect, sensor and antenna solutions, in 2013.
With an RM150 million investment since 2022, this plant has marked a significant expansion in the company's manufacturing capability, expanding to four times the size of its previous facility.
Amphenol operates in 40 countries, employing 100,000 across its various branches.
