BDV Edu Intl (01082.HK) announced on October 23 that in order to support the group's strategy of developing its domestic ai and digital education business, on August 26, 2024 and October 22, 2024 respectively, one of its subsidiaries, High Wise Creative Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., entered into cooperation agreements and supplemental agreements with Shenzhen Howyoung Innovation Co., Ltd. (Howyoung Innovation) to establish a cooperation framework for promoting the advancement of ai-enabled education reform and innovation and high-end vocational training business.
According to the cooperation agreement, both parties will collaborate to jointly develop, promote, and sell educational products. This includes establishing a professional and vocational training center in Shenzhen, integrating the curriculum contents of both parties to form a new vocational training curriculum system, introducing ai technology to enhance the quality and efficiency of education, and jointly promoting the cooperation of industry and education, including vocational education, continuing education, and vocational skills training.
Howyoung Innovation will introduce high-quality industrial enterprises under its umbrella as the basic customer group for cooperation. The first batch of industrial partners includes China Rareearth Group Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Aidofan Technology Development Co., Ltd., Digital China Group Co., Ltd., Xiamen Changelight Co., Ltd., and Yuan Hengxiang Group Co., Ltd., and other well-known leading companies, with a potential demand to nurture over 20,000 students.
Shenzhen Howyoung Innovation Co., Ltd. is a partner enterprise of Hejun Group, which is the largest domestic comprehensive enterprise management consulting group in China, with consulting, capital, and education as its three major sectors. Hejun Vocational College under the group has been approved by the Ministry of Education as a vocational college granting associate degrees, and has rich experience in industry-education integration and vocational training.
The board of directors believes that the cooperation agreement will help the group expand its domestic ai education business, in line with the group's previous collaboration with VIVERSE, and will more quickly increase its share in the growing domestic digital education market and contribute to empowering education with ai in China.
Given the huge size of the education market in mainland China and the strong demand for digital and intelligent education, the group expects the demand for its educational programs and services to continue to rise in the future. Therefore, the group will continue to discuss with potential partners in various fields about more possible cooperation or investment methods.
