Naughty Dog has rolled out significant updates for The Last of Us Part 1 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered onSony Group Corp.'s (NYSE:SONY) PlayStation 5.

These updates enable support for the highly anticipated PS5 Pro, which launches next month with advanced features like PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) for enhanced image clarity and performance.

The latest patch for The Last of Us Part 1, version 2.00, introduces a "Pro" mode that takes full advantage of the PS5 Pro's hardware. This new mode renders the game at 1440p, with PSSR upscaling output to 4K while maintaining a target of 60 frames per second (fps).
