Shares of Quest Diagnostics Incorporated (NYSE:DGX) rose sharply during Tuesday's session after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and issued FY24 revenue guidance above estimates.
Quest Diagnostics posted third-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $2.30, beating the consensus of $2.26. Sales increased 8.5% year-over-year to $2.49 billion, beating the consensus of $2.42 billion
Quest Diagnostics shares jumped 7.1% to $157.87 on Tuesday.

- Herc Holdings Inc. (NYSE:HRI) gained 12.3% to $189.93 after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter revenue results and raised its FY24 equipment rental revenue growth outlook.
- Rumble Inc. (NASDAQ:RUM) rose 11.3% to $6.24.
- SunCar Technology Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SDA) rose 10.8% to $10.17.
- General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) gained 9.1% to $53.40 after the company reported its third-quarter results.
- Philip Morris International Inc. (NYSE:PM) rose 8.1% to $128.57 after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter adjusted EPS and sales.
