In the cold autumn, the temperature drops, and some areas have entered the winter mode overnight. hk & china gas (0003.HK) under the Honghua Jintan gas storage follows the principle of "store as much gas as possible" to arrange the gas injection plan reasonably, with a cumulative gas injection of 0.18 billion cubic meters this year. Honghua Jintan gas storage is the first underground salt cavern gas storage commercially operated in the country to provide peak-shaving gas for urban gas as an intermediate project. Currently, Honghua Group has constructed Phase I and Phase II gas storage projects in Jintan, Changzhou. Phase I project has 8 wells in operation out of planned 10 wells, with a total gas storage capacity of 0.54 billion cubic meters, gas injection capacity of 2.1 million cubic meters per day, and gas production capacity of 5 million cubic meters per day. Phase II project plans for 15 wells, with a total gas storage capacity of 0.7 billion cubic meters, gas injection capacity of 7.2 million cubic meters per day, gas production capacity of 10 million cubic meters per day, and the first two wells will be put into operation next year. Honghua gas storage successively interconnected with the "West-East Gas Transmission" and "Sichuan-East Gas Transmission" as well as the natural gas pipeline network in Jiangsu Province, achieving bi-directional gas flow. Up to now, Honghua gas storage has accumulated nearly 1 billion cubic meters of gas injection, providing stable natural gas supply of more than 0.6 billion cubic meters to surrounding urban gas companies, effectively alleviating the tight gas supply situation for urban gas companies in winter. At the same time, in response to the demand of downstream urban gas companies, the gas storage facility also leverages its own storage capacity and pipeline network advantages to provide diversified services such as storage and transport on behalf of others, capacity leasing, actively explore various commercial operation modes, enhance emergency peak shaving capabilities, and promote the integrated construction of natural gas production, supply, storage, and sales.
