Meituan drone announced its participation in the second National Low-altitude Economy (Suzhou) Industrial Innovation Expo. At the expo, Meituan drones showcased innovative applications of low-altitude real-time retail scenes, with the first batch of mature hairy crabs flying directly to the expo site, reducing the time by more than half compared to traditional ground transportation delivery.

The person in charge of Meituan drones stated that Meituan drones are committed to building a 'multi-network integration' air-ground collaborative delivery system, based on rapidly building real-time delivery networks through city-level big data to continuously meet the emerging consumer needs of residents. At the same time, relying on advantages of aerial networks, continuously expanding innovative medical emergency scenarios such as medical sample transportation, and building a 'city's air lifeline.'

Continuing, the person in charge mentioned that next, Meituan drones will leverage the advantages of real-time delivery networks from three aspects, assisting in the implementation of diversified low-altitude application scenarios in Suzhou, stimulating the vitality of the low-altitude economy through rich application scenarios; promoting core technology development through high-challenge operational scenarios; and accelerating the industrial development through industry-academia cooperation.

As of the end of September this year, Meituan drones have opened 43 routes in cities such as Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Nanjing, and have cumulatively completed orders exceeding 0.36 million. Real-time retail delivery services cover various scenes such as offices, communities, scenic spots, municipal parks, campuses, and libraries, delivering over 0.09 million types of goods to users. In medical scenarios, Meituan drones can build end-to-end all-day express networks around medical blood, sample testing, pre-hospital emergency supplies, special pharmaceuticals, and other medical material delivery needs.
